New Years Eve 12/31/2007
I found this entry in my drafts. I started it after dinner intending to finish before heading out, needless to say the festivities of the evening took over. I would've posted more pics but this is the most flattering.
I love New Years Eve it's the opportunity to start fresh, leave all the bad stuff behind and place good memories in the mental filing cabinet for a rainy day. After dinner (with Jason and Rick) I posed for this picture (I love how the hair, the outfit and background all just fell into place) then we headed back to the apartment for a disco nap and to change (at least Jason and I did). We hit a couple of places, where Michael works and Jefferey's friend Jeremys bar XES. I liked both places. The music in both places was mixed and so were the crowds. No body standing around modeling or in cliques just people out to have a great time. And I sure had a great time. My friend Amy can never say I don't support her, I drank enough Red Bull and Vodkas on this trip for everyone. I even threw a fit when the bartender handed me a FAKE RED BULL (I'm representing Amy), Jefferey had to calm me down. I will be perfectly honest I remember less of the evening than I like but enough to know it was the best New Years EVER!!! I cant describe how it feels to be with people you love and just being able to let go and boy I let go. People would never guess this about me but I sometimes have a hard time being spontaneous and just letting go. I just realized it a few months ago. Thanks to new/renewed friendships and quite a bit of introspection I've decided to try some new things which normally isn't a problem for me but I'm going to step further out of my comfort zone. Hell smiling in pictures is big for me. One thing I picked up from my mother is HATING to smile in picture and just hating myself in pictures in general. But I've started to take more pictures and smile in those pictures and so far so good. The pic below is my new favorite pic, the hair the outfit and background just fell in place. Shake of the hair, good place to strike a pose then smile best thing about it all spontaneous. Cant wait for 2008!!
