Blackberry Storm: The New Touch Screen Blackberry

You never know what you'll find online and I found something today that I thought was an urban legend, a touch screen Blackberry, The Blackberry Storm.  I have been a Blackberry (or Crackberry for true Blackberry addicts) fan and carrier for 5 years.  The first time I held one I HATED it, fast forward a few months and I got a job working for  RIM in 2003,(Research In Motion) the company the manufacturers the Blackberry, I didn't stay long (thats another entry) but I've carried a Blackberry ever since.  I've turned family, friends and coworkers onto the Blackberry, my first was Jefferey which isn't saying much, as soon as I told him I had one his response was "I want one NOW!".  When I worked for Cingular from 05 to 06 (now AT&T)  I sold and was the authority on Blackberry's.  In most cases customers came in and asked for a Blackberry because a friend had one or they had heard about it or someone needed a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and it was always a choice between the Blackberry or the Palm Tero.  I have never been a fan of the Palm.  I am not a proponent of touch screen devices because ANYTHING that constantly touching whether with a stylus or a your finger can be problematic.  The feedback I got from customers was "does Blackberry make a touch screen" or "if Blackberry made a touch screen...."  Fast forward to 2008 and Verizon Wireless customers will be the first with the opportunity to own one.  I will reserve my opinion until I get more information, besides I'm salivating over the Blackberry Bold, which hopefully is still on target for a 4th quarter 2008 release.  I was able to get a get a picture and talking points for the Blackberry Storm.  The talking points aren't that clear but as soon I can post something better I will.
